Sharps Collection
It is important to properly dispose of sharps. Sharps are needles, needles with syringes, needles with tubes, blades, razors, and Exactos. It doesn't matter if they are medically contaminated or not, they should be disposed of in a proper sharps container and not sent to a landfill.
Pick up your free sharps container at the KC Recycling Depot. Liquid bleach bottles (or other hard rigid plastic bottle) may also be used to collect sharps. Make sure the lid is in place and taped down. Properly mark your sharps container if unidentified. Bring your full container to the Depot during our open hours for disposal.
