To use our business services, a business must be a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG). We accept small quantities of the same materials from businesses that we do from residents with a nominal fee.

Appointments are not required for businesses, municipalities, and non-profits each time materials need to be recycled; however, we do appreciate a call in advance to let us know you are coming with large quantities.
Services rendered can be paid for with cash, check, card, or by monthly invoicing. If you choose to invoice we ask that your representative dropping off have the accurate billing address.​

FYI:

Water based products are non-hazardous and can go into the trash. Latex paints need to be solidified with oil dry, saw dust, sand, or kitty litter before discarding in trash.​ Alkaline batteries are also okay for the trash.

Chemical and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop-Off

Bring ID: An identification matching the representative of the business must be presented at time of service. 

Chemicals: All products must be brought to the facility labeled, organized, and upright. No bagged, leaking, or unmarked containers will be accepted. KCSWMD reserves the right to refuse any material deemed unsafe to accept.

Any chemicals/HHW other than listed above will not be accepted.

Approach the warehouse by coming around the building either off Market or Union. The drive next to the tracks is EXIT ONLY.

How to Drop Off

  • Please enter from Market Street, or the alley off Union Street, by our parking area. Circle around to the back of the building to reach the south receiving door (alongside the railroad tracks).
    The alley next to the railroad tracks is exit only.

  • Due to liability reasons, our warehouse associates WILL NOT be able to assist you in getting items out of vehicles.
    Please bring help if needed.
