Electronics: We collect basically anything with a cord that does not have Freon inside. We do not have a certified Freon technician on site nor do we take appliances once the Freon has been removed.
As of January 1 2011, it is illegal to put e-waste into your garbage. E-waste is discarded/used up electrical or electronic devices and they must be disposed of properly.

2019 TV RecyclingDue to the downright success of the TV Amnesty Week program, we have made a change for the rest of the 2019 calendar year.
Starting on May 1, 2019, all television and monitor recycling will be free of charge for Kosciusko County residents. Those bringing TVs and monitors to recycle must have a valid Kosciusko County ID. This program is for residents only. TVs and monitors recycled by businesses and non-profits count toward the per pound charge for electronics recycling. We encourage you to take advantage of this program and not toss your TVs or monitors into the recycling bins, alongside the road, in a field, etc! |
If you have a large TV you are recycling, please bring adequate help with you to unload.
For liability reasons, KC Recycling staff are unable to get inside a vehicle to remove a TV.

Bare Tube TV's
Please note we charge more for a TV tube than for a TV left in its casing. The bare tube contains a charge and we must package this item separately for shipping.
Please leave your TV's in their original state! We charge $0.50/lb for this. Tubes are dangerous and we must use extra packaging to transport them to the final recycling facility. |
