Free Shredding Event

The final shred event of 2026 will be on October 7, 2026, from 8:00 am-11:00 am, the KC Recycling Depot. Located at 220 S. Union Street, Warsaw, the event will take place at the back of the building. Integra will be operating its paper shredding truck, and documents will be shredded on-site and then taken to be recycled.

The drive around the Depot will be under construction. Please enter and exit from Harding St. The traditional drive is reserved for regular dropoffs. No paper will be accepted at this entrance.

Please remain in your vehicle until it is your turn to unload your documents. Boxes placed in the trunk of the car or the bed of a truck can be removed by our technicians. For liability reasons, the KC Recycling Warehouse Technicians will not be able to enter the back seats of any vehicle to retrieve papers. Attendants will empty the documents into the bins ready for the shredder, and the boxes or plastic bags will be returned to the resident. Boxes or brown paper bags are preferred. Brown paper bags will be shredded with the contents of the bag.

Once you are done, you will continue back toward Harding St. to Market St. If you also have items to bring to our warehouse, you will need to exit and drive back to the union st entrance.

There is no need to remove staples or paper clips, but heavy binder clips do need to be removed. Each resident can bring up to 6 boxes or bags to be shredded.  Plastic bags are not preferred, as they take more time to empty and return. This event is reserved for Kosciusko Residents only. Please be prepared to show proof of address.

This is the final shred event of this year.  Make sure you are checking our website or following us on Facebook or Instagram to learn about events in 2027.
