Scratch out your name & address on your prescription medications, but BE SURE THE DRUG NAME(S) REMAINS VISIBLE ON THE ORIGINAL CONTAINER.
When you bring your expired or unwanted medicines to KC Recycling Depot, be sure to allow time to be present during check-in.  We have to look up each drug in our file book to see if we are permitted to accept it.  We do not accept controlled substances & illegal drugs. These should be placed in a sturdy plastic bag and dissolved with vinegar.  Once they are completely dissolved, they can be safely thrown away.  DO NOT FLUSH ANY MEDICATIONS OR DRUGS DOWN ANY DRAIN.  Protect our water ways!
