Job Opening

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Warehouse Associate helps in performing daily tasks, which include:
  • Accepting, sorting, storing, and preparing for shipment electronics, tires, household chemicals, paints, light bulbs, batteries, sharps, and other recyclable materials.
  • Collects and issues receipts for items received in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs various duties in the packaging of items to ship or deliver, such as sealing, weighing, and labeling full containers, loading trucks and pallets to maximize truck capacity, and helps the HHW Coordinator to create a bill of lading for materials.
  • Assists in special collection events, including shoes, paper shredding, and tires, accepting items from residents, tracking inventory, and organizing and stacking/loading items as required.
  • Assists with daily housekeeping of offices, warehouse, and grounds, including emptying trash and recycling containers, changing light bulbs, picking up trash and debris, mowing, snow removal, and performing general gardening on grounds.

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Warsaw, IN 46580: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Heavy lifting: 1 year (Required)
  • Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
  • English (Required)
License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
