Kosciusko County Solid Waste Management District oversees 8 drop off recycling locations located throughout the county. Check them out here. These bins are for residents only - no commercial providers are to be offloading their recycling into any of these sites.

We also service the bins located behind our facility in Warsaw at 220 South Union Street. For more information on our main facility, click here.

Every site is serviced Monday - Friday by Whitley Environmental, with some of our more frequently visited sites receiving weekend service, too. If you ever experience an issue with a site please call us at (574) 372-3087 or email us here. Our phone system has voicemail so you can leave a message even on weekends and after hours.

At home, please sort your materials into a container with only clean paper products, clean metal, and clean plastics #1-3 before dropping off at our bins.

Paper Products

  • Office paper, newspapers, brochures, magazines, phone books, soft cover books, cardboard boxes, catalogs, junk mail, etc.
  • Shredded paper accepted only in clear or translucent secured bags.
  • Any paper product that has touched food (i.e. napkins, paper towels, pizza boxes, etc.) or bodily fluids (i.e. tissues) is strictly trash and never to be recycled!

Plastics #1-3

  • Plastics smaller than a credit card (i.e. bottle caps, milk rings, carton pull tabs, etc.) should be thrown away. We are not collecting nor do we know of anyone collecting bottle caps at this time.
  • All plastics must be clean and free from any food or beverage.
  • If your item has no identifiable marking for recycling on it, it is trash. We do not want it.

Metal Cans

  • Tin, steel, & aluminum metal cans and metal jar lids.
  • Do not bring any metal items for our bins that are not one of the above listed.
  • Cans must be rinsed clean and dry.
  • We do not pay for aluminum cans or any other metal recycling at our facility.
